Orders can be placed up to 2 months in advance. Wedding cakes can be placed 1 year in advance.

Yes of course. Please note that all cakes will never be alike. I do not  replicate cake but will use the photos you send as inspo in a Jasmin The Baker style.

Once your order is confirmed, you will receive an invoice with the price breakdown. All orders require a 50% retainer fee. Remaining balance is due no later than 1 week from when order is needed. All orders placed  within 7 or less days from when the order is needed total cost must be paid in full once the invoice has been received.

On delivery or pick up day the cakes shall conform to their description as set in the agreement, be of satisfactory quality and comply with all food safety, statutory and regulatory requirements in Maryland.

Our cakes are fresh products containing no additives or preservatives and it is our right to assume consumption on the day requested. Cakes should be stored in the refrigerator, away from direct sunlight.

Our cakes are made in an environment where nuts, egg, milk, gluten and other allergens are present. We cannot guarantee that any cake is entirely nut free although we make every effort to ensure that allergies are accommodated.

Flowers are provided by an outside sourse, we will place them for an additional fee. You acknowledge that fresh flowers are not a food product, and may contain pesticides, insects, dirt or other contaminats and must be removed along with any floristry tape and wire before consuming the cake.

Sometimes certain materials for our cakes may become obsolete. This is totally out of our control. However we will do our best to select a replacement product to reflect the original design as closley as possible. We reserve the right to replace items with components equal or better quality without consultation.

If your cake contains figures made from fondant whilst edible, we do not advise that they be eaten, due to the possible presence of dowels for reinforcement.

Stacked cakes contain dowels in each tier to provide support and these should be removed before consumption.

We will not be be held responsible for customers dissapointment of the design or the interpretation of the cake as long as it is made in line with the customers preagreement requirements set in the agreement and will face no consequents liabitity. It is the customers responsibility to ensure all details within the order confirmation and sketch are correct and meet their exact requirements.

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your order any money that has been paid you will be refunded. Jasmin The Baker reserves the right to cancel the agreement, if events occur which are in the nature of force fire, flood, storm, strike, riot, non-availability of materials or supplies or any other events outside the control of Jasmin The Baker. Jasmin The Baker shall not be liable for any breach of agreement resulting from such an event.

                        -Complaints-

Complaints are very rare and due to the amount of work put into each individual cake we take them very seriously. Any issues must be brought to our attention within 48 hours from delivery or collection day, to give a fair opportunity to assess the nature of the complaint.

Both parties agree to not post any negative information about the other arising out of the agrrement on any olinr form or website without providing notice of intended consent therfore, and providing the other party with a prior opportunity to resolve any issue between the parties amicably.

Complaints regarding the decoration of order can be easily replaced/repaired so error of this nature must be pointed out upon delivery/collection so as it gives us the opportunity to correct them.

Please note we can only deal with the clients who placed the original order.

All design/illustrations property rights remain the property of Jasmin The Baker. We reserve the right to use images of your order for any form of advertising including web based promotion, brochures, galleries and competitions.
